🌟 Our Story

Kahani is more than a restaurant—it’s a story of dreams, hard work, and passion served on a plate.

Founded by brothers Jay Naishadh Mendha and Malav Patel, Kahani was born from a journey that began far away from home. In 2022, Jay started working in the USA as a barista at Dunkin’ Donuts, where he learned the fundamentals of customer service, consistency, and speed. But his hunger to grow didn’t stop there.

Soon after, Jay moved to London, where he joined a Turkish restaurant as a porter (dishwasher). What started behind the scenes quickly turned into a lesson in perseverance. Within just two months, dedication and hard work earned him a promotion to waiter, and in the following three months, he rose to become the Bar Manager—handling guests, beverages, and operations firsthand.

At Kahani, we proudly serve a thoughtfully crafted menu of Indian and Continental cuisine, blending rich flavors, modern techniques, and comforting classics. Every dish is inspired by global experiences and rooted in Indian warmth and hospitality.
